I don't care about the Trinity or oneness.
I don't care about cessationism or charisma.  
I don't care about Osteen or Washer.
I don't care about KJV or ESV

Jesus has to be enough.
Only he can protect me from the death I know I justly deserve.
I have no merit on my own,
I am powerless.

 

 

I briefly dreamed last night
like many dreams
many things happened
I was in my car
I could hear pressure being released in the back seat
looking behind me I found that there were wine bottles on the passenger side rear seat of my two door Civic.
there were maybe about four
they were puffing up with pressure as if they were spoiled
the wine bottles were braking and leaking dark red wine in my vehicle
after lifting up the bottle that was on top that had just cracked I found that the bottle at the bottom of the stack was cracked and almost completely broken
the wine was all over the seat of my car. 
it had soaked into the seat as though it were leaking for some time.

what mean he by these stones. these are jagged pockets of dence thought through out soft tissue that you seamlessly string together with rhythms and ribbon of melody.

Shout out to the girl who called me a man of stars, and to the guy that asked me if I “... ever feel like you’re avoiding something.”

I was given a great opportunity to hang out with Richard Savercool this weekend and fill in for him while he was letting his voice rest.

It was such a different experience to jam the front spot for a rock band. I felt like Jagger a little bit ;)

The River Hymn & MRYM Candy

Miryam was responsible for the candy at the end of the River Hymn, as well as this jewel atop. She brought out the contrasted celestial shore that opposes Dark Water’s ominous representation of “Champagne Wreckless”  on the cover for the EP.

Dark Water & River Hymn

The River Hymn was the whole reason for the Dark Water - EP. 

When I went to the studio to I made sure to get this one out of the way before I went for any thing else. It’s the leader of this pack, and the biggest bulb of the bunch.

From: a city made of stone

It’s appropriate that this exploration from 2009 be part of the streaming and download release.  

I can remember the color of the room I lived in at the time: a Dark red and muddy green brown recording. it has become in its current form as the introduction to Dark Water.

A time stamp to date the beginning of things.  It’s a place where I first explored this landscape—a different time.
